We got here May 21, 2014, the cable not on and no propane for the hot water in the showers. I guess this is the 2014 adventure. I have been a member here for apx. 11 years. Apx. 2 years ago they hit us up to upgrade our membership. I can't believe we were dumb enough to fall for the sales pitch. We already knew they had, in our opinion, been lax and telling the membership they were going to make improvements in the park that very few improvements were done. Well we bought into the upgrade $2000. There was supposed to be playground improvements, pool fixed up and cable and wify throughout the park. (Diamond Point) Saratoga Park was suppose to get sewers and cable extended through the park. Well folks, no sewers, last year cable, this year none. Never got the wifi to my knowledge. Last year we spent a day without power and as a result no water (pump). Non payment of bill. They keep recruiting more members and what do they do? Buy a new park in Mass. Instead of following through with the promises to improve these 2 parks. Now when we come there are more people here, harder to get the sites we want and everybody is upset that something isn't working. These 2 parks have great potential, to bad the owner can't manage things properly to make a go of it.
This place could be a camper's dream. But for whatever reason there are multiple issues First it was the internet that WAS promised at the tour,Not available, Now it's an issue with National Grid No pay no power at least that is what we are hearing. Power was supposed to be back on last night by 9:PM 10/03/2013 as of 8:30 10/04/2013 still now power. Can we just get this fixed and start putting some of our money back into the Campground, rather than buying more campgrounds!!
If I could give this place zero stars I would we too fell for this scam spent thousands for the membership this was told after my dog was not allowed. Refused to pay dues for campgrounds I could not use so I was put in to collections for $450.00 will never pay this they have already suckered enough money out of me. Buyer beware this is a total scam you don't get anything promised.
We also fell for this membership, went through the whole promised internet, cable, etc. I can work anywhere if I have internet. Then they tried to upgrade me, NO way. Now we have no camper, cant use the cabins because I have a small dog, basically stuck. Last winter went to AZ for winter, forgot to pay membership. April got a collection bill 150.00 more than the camper dues. I called and said if you sent ME a reminder, I would have paid it. I am not paying your credit collection bill for you. I really wish I could sell this.
This is the most awful campground we have ever been to for RVing. The management has no clue what is gong on. Most of the time either the pool is extremely filthy, or not available. Property is not maintained well.
Don't even bother about making a complaint. Management ignores it or laughs behind your back for approaching them.
Spend your money where it is appreciated.
