Great for shows at SPAC. They offered busses to and from. Sites were alright. I would come back next time I see a show in Saratoga Springs.
I initially reserved an RV site for a week, but stayed for almost two. Everything was very neat and appeared to be well maintained. The big pines all over gave plenty of shade during the day. I was positioned near the shower/laundry. They were both very clean every time I went there. Overall, it was an excellent experience. All of the staff that I dealt with were professional and friendly. I think I'll do this again the next time I'm up that way.
Back in September 2016, we arrived after 9:00pm. We read the note on the check-in window about locating a spot and then pay the next morning. While I was out of our motor home reading this, my wife called the phone number posted the person that answered the phone told us to park next to the drive way in a spot that would have been too noisy in the morning, so we decided to find a spot that was would be quiet the next morning. As soon as we came to a spot that was unoccupied, a man drove up behind us and told us to leave the park or he would call the police. He was very rude. It was the same man that my wife had talked to on the phone. I explained to him that we were just following the instructions left on the door at the check in window. He told us to leave. So we did.
Also, the road is very bumpy and difficult to drive thru.
The owner is very rude, they don't answer the phone, never returned my email , return my message and they have some ridiculous rules. They give out bracelets for re-entry into the evening (I don't blame them for doing that). However, I was meeting my sister later that day and when I asked if they would give me one for her, they said she would have to come in so they could put it on her themselves. Made her drive an extra hour just to get a bracelet. When I told them how far she would have to drive, the guy behind the counter became very obnoxious, saying people have gone to Walmart to have the bracelets made up so they wouldn't have to pay. I had one on my wrist but they wouldn't give me one? I never mentioned this to my sister, just told her she would have to go to the park and get a bracelet and she complained he was rude to her as well. There was no reason for this behavior and I will never stay there again.
I do not recommend this place to anyone. They are rude and ignorant.
We stayed there for Dixie Chicks concert at SPAC. The bathrooms and shower house are new and clean. The sites are spacious and well kept. I would defiantly stay there again.
